Background Information The Bangalore Traffic Police, which is in India, has been running an outdoor advertising campaign using disturbing photography to shock people out of talking to their friends and families on the phone while they are driving. Men and women are shown grimacing as blood spurts out from their telephones.

What is Your Initial Reaction? My initial reaction is shock. It is frightening to know that doing something as simple as talking on the phone to someone can cost them their life.

Who is the Intended Audience? This Advertisement would be aimed mainly at people of at least the age of 16 because that is when you are able to get your drivers license and because the majority of car accidents happen to young and inexperienced drivers.

What is the Point of View? The creator of the advertisement would look away from the use of cell phones while driving because they are one of the leading causes of car accidents and they can cost someone their life.

What is the Logical Appeal? Talking on the phone while driving can lead to injury and/or even death. Talking on the phone while driving is one of the leading causes of wrecks in the United States, and it can happen to anyone!

What is the Ethical Appeal? The Bangalore Traffic Police governs traffic in the City of Bangalore, India. India is the 2 nd most populated country in the world so it has a lot of car accidents.

What is the Emotional Appeal? My initial reaction was shock. It is very scary to know that something as simple as talking on your cell phone can lead to death. It is also very scary to note that it is also the persons fault who is not in the car, but that is talking to the victim on the phone because they caused the person to wreck.

What is Left Out of the Advertisement? What is happening to the other person is left out, I think this is mainly done to keep the audience wondering what is happening on the other side of the phone. Is the person seriously injured, or even dead?
