4 What is the purpose of this ad? The purpose of this ad is to inform all viewers to think before and while they drive about things that can harm them. It also gives viewers reason to think about you, harming someone else driving

5 Who is the intended Audience? The audience is applied for anyone driving or know people driving which is everyone. AAA Auto Group reports that cell phone use accounts for 2,600 vehicle fatalities and 300,000 collisions annually.

6 Why is the body covered? The body is covered to make the viewer think about how it could be anyone. It could be like the ad says, a friend, wife, or child. Someone that means dearly to you.

7 Why is the ad portrayed at night? Black is a color that brings negative thoughts. The black also makes you pay more attention to the action going on in the picture. (White Sheet) Wrecks are dark and undesirable

8 Logos- Logical Appeal It is logical for everyone to know the basic dangers of distracting yourself while driving such as texting, talking, drinking, Drowsiness, and not being buckled

9 Pathos- Emotional Appeal Impaired or distracted driving is a big issue and many people can relate to it because it has harmed so many peoples lives. Lots of people have lost family members due to this issue

10 Ethos- Ethical Appeal Everyone knows exactly what a white sheet means when covered over a body at a crash site. People understand that this is what can happen when impaired driving becomes an issue
