Ozer Academy is educational branch of Ozer/Sofra International and benefits from generous support of Ozer Education Foundation. Ozer Academy provides young people with recognised qualifications, professional competence and management skills. Our courses and training programs enable young people to gain quality work experience at one of our businesses. They work towards recognised national qualifications and have the opportunity to progress into our management structure.

Sofra is partnered with Middlesex University. This course is designed to produce entrepreneurs and executives whose theoretical and practical expertise prepares them for the challenge of setting themselves up in their own business or taking on an entrepreneurial role in a corporation. The Applied Project in collaboration with Sofra International will provide professional and practical experiences. It teaches the essential components required to be successful in the catering and hospitality sector with the aim of training entrepreneurial restaurateurs par excellence.

This course builds your abilities to make decisions, spot opportunities, think creatively and critically and develop as an entrepreneur and leader. You will complete an applied project that involves starting up your own business, running your own business or undertaking entrepreneurial work in an organisation, enabling you to address the real requirements and pitfalls of small business enterprise and management.

Ozer Apprenticeship Scheme In line with Boris Johnson's pledge to work with London businesses to generate 250,000 Apprenticeships by 2016, Özer/Sofra International and Hackney Community College launched Ozer Apprenticeship scheme at Sofra Covent Garden on 5 th November The Apprenticeship scheme reflects the commitment of Özer/Sofra International and Hackney Community College to grow the London economy and get young people into work.

During their training period Apprentices get on-the-job training - working in the front house as well as preparing high quality food. They will study for one day a week where they will achieve a level 2 qualification - and receive payment at the same time. Apprentices will also learn valuable transferable skills - including entrepreneurial skills, which could help them to set up their own business in a few years.22
