The Ideal Device for Teachers and Students: TABLETS

Basics of a tablet Quick and easy Convenient Lighter than text books Could potentially replace all school supplies Always being connected to the internet A handheld device that can be taking anywhere!

What is the ideal device? While many students are looking for the next best thing to make their learning experience easier, electronic device creators are making that happen. The tablet is a great and modern way for all students to make their learning and studying experiences more convenient and even less time consuming. Who ever though money could buy time? Well now it can when you purchase a tablet.

Why should you have a tablet? As a former student, I remember asking myself, “what could replace all of these pencils, pens, heavy books I have to carry around, and the stress of losing work sheets given by my teachers?” Luckily for this generation of students the answer is tablets. Tablets can replace all of those things which become a student’s nighmare

Tablet Applications There are many applications that can be downloaded on the tablet which will help enhance the student’s studying experience and will quickly prove it’s effectiveness during the grading of the student’s classwork or homework. These applications include things like book downloading apps. You will be able to download many different books for your educational and classroom needs.

Tablet Applications Cont.… These books can be downloaded for free or for an action of the price. You will have access to these books at any time and at any place which will help with not forgetting a book somewhere. You will always have access to all your class work and all of your class supplies in the palm of your hands. There are also applications that give information about certain subjects which can help you with a certain class that you are taking.

Internet on the tablet Tablets come with built in Wi-Fi so you can connect at home, school, a café, etc… and study wherever you are from your comfort. You can easily your teacher, look something up for homework, submit assignments, do research and much more

Laptop vs. Tablet: Why choose tablet? There are many reasons why a tablet is more convenient than a laptop. Time of course is the biggest reason for why you should choose a tablets. It is quicker to turn on and even quicker to get what you need to have done. Instead of waiting for the laptop to turn on and load up you can have your tablet on with a click of a button. Laptops are much more prone to crashing and freezing and even catching viruses. With tablets the chance of that happens decreases drastically.

Portability The portability of tablets makes them much easier to use for both teachers and students Students can turn in assignments electronically instead of holding a bunch of things to class and worry about losing them. Teachers can grade assignments on tablets and use the tablets for class topics instead of holding heavy bags loaded with paper work.

Teachers and Technology Schools are trying to find ways in connecting education with technology Educators are trying to push towards a more technological learning environments With tablets it has become easier for both the student and the teacher to be accustomed to education technology Tablets will help advance and better education.

Teachers and Tablets In recent surveys it is shown that over 80% of teachers believed that tablets help enhance a student’s classroom experience Teachers are always open and looking for new ways to integrate technology into the classroom for the sake of themselves and their students. Teachers will not only be helping the students during the duration of the class but also for the future of education which seems to be pushing towards technology.s

Where to get tablets? Many stores sell tablets and many of them go on sale for good prices. They start and $69 and go anywhere above that. They are affordable devices that save you a lot of money in the long run. You can also find them used on sites like E-bay. Hopefully tablets will be used in many classrooms.
