Communtication The allows use to be able to communicate with others. This could include communication via the internet to social networking sites. Example of these are: Instant messaging, blogs, email, social networking sites ect. Benefits: -You are able to communicate with others who aren’t with you at the time. -Keeps you updated about friends and others lives.

Real-time information The allows us to access information as it happens. This could include information via websites, downloadable apps or electronic signage. Examples of these are: -Checking an airport website for flight delays and times -Signs at bus stops giving information of bus timetables -Apps which allow you to check weather and traffic status. Benefits: -Updates information for travellers.

Commerce This allows us to deal with money over the internet. This gives us the ability to look at bank details and buy items. Example of these are: -This could include checking you bank balance on a website -Purchasing item from the internet Benefits: -You are able to purchase items in the comfort of where ever you are. -A simple and quick way to buy items and having them delivered to you.

Government The service provide opportunities such as online tax returns from the internet. Examples of these are: -Voting online(e-voting) -Apply for grants Benefits: -It is hassle free -Don’t need to visit anywhere to apply for a grant -Saves time

Download services This is a service which allows people to download items such as music and apps. Examples of these are: -ITunes is an example of this as you can download music. -Also apple store provides apps Benefits: -Allows you to purchase item which can be in a app store or over the internet in your own home -This products are purchased to your home through the internet
