INTRODUCTION MPUVN is the Nodal agency of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Govt. of India, for promotion of New & Renewable Sources of Energy (NRSE) in the State of MP MPUVN is the State Designated agency Under Energy Conservation Act 2001(Ministry of Power; Govt. Of India) for promotion of Energy Conservation activities in the State of MP

About MPUVNL Responsible for: implementing programs and policies of the Government of India as well as the State Government for the promotion of renewable energy in the state; implementing energy efficiency programme in the state; conducting energy audits for suggesting ways of saving on conventional power; and creating awareness about the benefits of energy conservation and renewable energy among users of various form of energy.

Akshay Urja Shops Programme Akshay Urja Shops(AUS) established in each of the districts(50 no.s), to facilitate easy access to RE and Energy efficient equipment/ products at district level. Conducted a 3 day residential training programme on energy efficiency and use of renewable energy for AUS owners, technicians and staff. Dissemination of RE and EE equipments/ products through AUSs.
