How can we use social media?

What are your goals? As SIA Governors… what are your goals when using social media?  To reach members  To communicate with fellow Governors  To share information from Headquarters  _________________

Where is your audience? Just because social networks exist… doesn’t mean you have to be on every single one. Facebook? Twitter? LinkedIn? Pinterest?

Soroptimists are on Facebook!

The #1 way you can share messages from Headquarters is… (drum roll please) Share posts from SIA’s and LYD’s facebook pages! So easy!

Best Practices: Facebook  Page v.s. Profile  Page = organization, club, company, etc.  Profile = personal (aka must be a person, human body)  Page Administrators  Identify multiple Page Administrators to help with creating more content
