Ramirez Elementary Library Rules Mrs. Valenciana, Librarian

When visiting the library… Enter, leave, and work quietly. Respect our time by coming in quickly and quietly, and by starting and stopping on time

While in the library… Respect others by cooperating and sharing Respect school equipment by caring for the books, the computers, and using shelf markers Be a responsible learner by listening, following directions, and participating positively

While in the library… All materials must be checked out of the library at the circulation desk Students are responsible for picking up after themselves. At the end of each period, students should pick up scrap paper, push chairs under tables and return books to the circulation desk.

While in the library… Eating, drinking, and chewing gum are not permitted in the library. Return books on time. Always use quiet, inside voices.

While in the library… Students will be allowed to: –AR test –Research using databases –Actively participate in daily lessons

Students visiting the library will: Respect themselves by having a positive attitude and showing self control Take good care of books at home and school

Always remember…. The library will maintain an atmosphere conducive to reading, research and reflection If you need help, always remember to ask myself or Mrs. Sams for assistance.
