How to Learn More And Reply to this Article... Ways you can help! What are the effects? How is it happening? What is Global warming? What is Global warming? Global warming is when bad gasses, called greenhouse gasses, rise into the air and either make the ozone thinner, so it lets in more heat from the sun, or other gasses can’t get through the ozone, so they just sit there and they heat up the Earth. Either way, these gasses are causing climate change. Power words Greenhouse gasses: bad gasses that cause global warming Ozone: a shield around the earth that protects us from the sun. THINK: Do you do anything to stop global warming?

How to Learn More And Reply to this Article... How you can help! What are the effects How is it happening? What is global warming? Smoke stacks let out gas into the air. How is it happening? There are many things that cause global warming, for instance, gas from cars causes global warming volcanic eruptions, chemical fertilizers, and littering. Also, have you ever looked at smoke stacks, for factories? Just by looking at them, you can tell that they use way too much smoke. So, the main cause is using too much gas.

How to Learn More And Reply to this Article... How you can help! What are the effects? What is really happening? What is Global warming? What are the effects? Imagine you are a polar bear living in the Arctic. Every day, your home is melting a little bit more and you can’t do anything about it. Global warming is also effecting polar bears. As I said, there home is melting a little bit more every day. Try to have some empathy for them, and try to help, because of we don’t do something, before we know it, they will be extinct. POWER WORDS! Empathy: think about what it would be like to be them Extinct: every thing of a kind being dead.

How to Learn More And Reply to this Article... How you can help! What are the effects? How is it happening? What is Global warming? How you can help! We can help in many ways. For instance, we use too much gas in cars. If we all had Hybrid cars or electric cars, we wouldn’t be using as much gas and that would help a great deal. Also, we shouldn’t litter and we should recycle. Carpooling helps too, because you are using half as much gas as you would be using in two cars. Solar power is yet another thing that can help stop global warming. It is a great source of energy, instead of gas powered things. Windmills are another great source of energy that can help stop global warming. POWER WORDS! Hybrid car: a car that can run on both gas, and electricity. Carpooling: people go to the same place in one car. THINK: Do you know any one with an electric or hybrid car?
