The Rules of the Road How do people stay safe? What does a driver need to know?

Operating a computer is like driving a car. Both have sets of rules to keep people safe.

The Acceptable Use Policy  Our set of rules to keep you safe while using the computers here at Crisafulli Elementary School

Buckle Up! Keep personal information private: »Your name »Your age »Your address »Your phone number »Your picture

Look Both Ways! You only should meet an online friend with your parent or guardian. Always tell an adult if you feel uncomfortable about something that you see or receive on a computer. Only use appropriate language in your work on the computer.

Wrong Way! Stay out of other people’s files/work on the computer. Go to appropriate websites only on the information super highway.

Tune Up! Respect the computing environment. Always tell where you find your information and pictures.
