2. Safety First The best way to use the internet, is the safe way to use the internet.

3. Rules: What to Do When Using the Internet Do have a parent or a responsible adult close by when using the internet. Do only go to sites that have been approved by parents, guardian, or teachers. Do go and tell a parent or the responsible adult that is there with you immediately if something pops up on your computer that you are not familiar with or makes you feel uncomfortable. Do tell a responsible adult if someone you don’t know tries to get you to chat with them on the internet. Do always be careful and safe while online!!!

4. Rules: What Not to Do When on the Internet Do not go on sites that are not pre- approved by a teacher or a parent, especially sites that pop-up on your computer out of nowhere. Do not go onto the internet without a responsible adult with you. Do not go onto any chat rooms if you are on the computer alone, even if there is a teacher or parent in the room.
