Home Learning Every Monday students receive their weekly home learning typed on a sheet of paper. Please take a moment on Mondays to review their home learning and make sure that it is completed every day. (SSM) Sunshine Math is assigned biweekly and is due the following Monday. No late SSM will be accepted. Home learning is checked and reviewed everyday, it helps transition us to the next lesson. Basic fact fluency is very important to set the foundation for critical thinking and problem solving.

Grading Policy Academics Conduct 100 point scale ( A,B,C,D,F) Access the online grade book (PARENT PORTAL) Variety of Assessments Z = Did not turn in an assignment X= Excused (absent) Conduct Check grade book weekly, if there is a drop in behavior, it will be in grade book under math but not weight so it does not affect the average only the conduct grade.

Science Fair Projects 3rd grade students will complete a class science fair project. 4th grade students will complete an individual science fair project. It can be an experiment or an invention. Most of my students have turned in a problem statement for their science experiment.
