How Does IC Prepare its students for University Studies A. Career Guidance Mrs. Randa Soubaih, College Counselor, is responsible for orienting students towards both local (AUB, LAU, …) and foreign universities. She arranges for meetings with speakers from these universities. These meetings are announced on the IC website. Mrs. Josette Eid, is in charge of career guidance and of inviting speakers from different professions to address the students. Mr. Rida Saleh is responsible for the orientation of French speaking universities in Lebanon and France.

How Does IC Prepare its students for University Studies (cont.) B: Information Technology Programs which aid students in discovering their areas of strength and future professions GPO2 My road.com BLOM chabeb C: Local guest speakers who lecture students on their current professions (your contributions are welcome ☺)

SAT I + School transcript of record for grades 10 & 11 Admission to AUB SAT I + School transcript of record for grades 10 & 11 THE COMPOSITE SCORE (CS) and how it is generated by AUB Composite Score =50% SAT I + 50% school grades = (Critical reading + mathematical reasoning) + Grade 10 + Grade 11

AUB follows a scale of 800 School grades from grade 10 and grade 11 are converted to a scale of 800. How is this done ? If a student is above school average he will get above 500/800 If a student is below school average he gets below 500/800 AUB takes the average of the IC students applying this year Every student who gets the average of IC students is automatically granted 500/800

Every student is compared only against the group applying from his school This means that if the students’ average in school X is 90/100, the student who gets a 90 gets a 500/800 on the AUB scale . If IC students get an average of 75 /100 then the IC student who gets a 75 gets a 500/800. Conclusion : a 90 from another school is the same as a 75 from IC.
