PowerPoint has 5 Views that must be seen clearly 1.Your computer screen 2.Presentation screen 3.Print out for the audience 4.Outline 5.Notes Page You need to select your colors, text, images, and names so they are clearly displayed in each location

Inserting Movies and Sounds You can insert 3 types of sounds Clips within PPT Clips or songs from the web –Save your sound file to the same directory as PPT –Click on Insert, Movies and Sounds, Sound From File, locate sound file on the web Play sounds from your CD –Insert, Movies and Sounds, Play CD audio track Can use RealAudio OR MS Media Player

Master Slide Can create Slide Master, Title Master, Handouts Master, Notes Master Makes text and/or image display on every slide Sets characteristics – font, size, color, titles, background on every slide Click on View, Master, Slide Master

Apply Design Template 2 types of design templates Built-in PPT templates Templates from websiteswebsites –Save by following directions on each website – they change –Insert design template into PPT: Task Pane, Design Templates, click on Browse button at bottom. Template is inserted on currently open file

Special Functions Hide one slide –Click on View, Slide Sorter, Hide Slide icon on toolbar –Can hide any number of slides Create Summary slide –All slide titles will automatically display on one slide Override the master slide for one special slide
