Training Guide

The Punch Out Catalog System The Punch Out shopping catalog for Tech Depot takes the user directly into the vendor’s website and online catalog while remaining within Arizona BuyWays. All browsing, shopping, real-time inventory lookup and pricing are done from the vendor’s website and their catalog. When finished shopping and putting items into a shopping cart, all the information is automatically transferred back to Arizona BuyWays for requisitioning, account code distribution, shipping information, approving and creating purchase orders. To change the quantity on an item that has been added to a requisition, return to Tech Depot, put the item back into the cart with the new quantity and checkout. The new quantity will override what is in the requisition. Tech Depot is located under the Office/Computer Category for Arizona BuyWays.

Office Depot Tool Bar Functions The home page options can be used for creating orders: 1) To find and select items by searching the on-line catalog, utilize the Search field. This is similar to searching through our paper catalog. 2) Search the on-line catalog using a keyword, Category or Brand Name. 3) Create a personalized shopping list by selecting Saved Carts. Browsing the Catalog Browsing the on-line catalog enables the user to narrow the search to specific items. 1) From the Home page, select a category to browse. 2) From this screen, items can be added to the cart by checking the Select Items checkbox or entering the quantity you want and then selecting the Add to Requisition button. 3) To perform a search with key words, the Tech Depot Item Number or the manufacturer name, utilize the Search feature located on the navigation bar to the left of the page. Enter keywords or a product number in the Search field. You may narrow your search by searching by brand name, category or Vendor showcase. Click on Search and the Search Results screen appears.

Personal Shopping Lists Personal Shopping Lists help you keep track of your commonly purchased items. You may create a new Personal List from items in your Requisition Form, Search Results and Item Details by following the steps below: Click on Saved Carts Click on the cart name Add to a new cart by selecting the product and clicking Buy

Placing Your Order Once you have added all items for purchase to your Shopping Cart, select the Checkout button next to the shopping cart. Review the items in the cart and then click Continue Checkout to proceed with your purchase.

After you have clicked Continue Checkout, you will need to Verify Your Requisition. Click the Place Order button to proceed. The Tech Depot items will automatically be entered into your Arizona BuyWays requisition. Changes can be made before submitting the requisition by selecting Click Here to Edit Your Order. Make any changes and resubmit. To return to Arizona BuyWays without adding an item to the requisition, click the Cancel Punchout button. Placing Your Order, Cont.
