2 Create a Non-Catalog Requisition
Create a Non-Catalog Item to Requisition If the item you need is not available in the catalog, add a non-catalog item. Non-catalog items will route to Procurement for sourcing. The requisition will not be fully approved and ordered until the sourcing activity is complete. To add a non-catalog item, select CATALOG tab, click the + Add Non-Catalog Item button or the non-catalog item icon near the search bar. Type a detailed description of the item. Click the arrow to search for and select the appropriate Commodity Code. Use the search filter as needed and click select to add the commodity. Update the Quantity, Unit of Measure and Price fields. Be sure that the price is per the correct unit of measure. Select Tax Code If known, enter the Vendor details under the Supplier Information section. Checkout Each time you add an item, a pop up will appear giving you the options to Review Cart or Proceed to Checkout. Click Proceed to Checkout when you are ready to checkout. Complete Requisition Header Provide a Requisition Title. Your name defaults in the On Behalf Of field. If you are creating this requisition for yourself, no changes are needed. If the requisition is being created on someone else’s behalf, select that individual in the On Behalf Of field. The Requestor’s data will default in the subsequent fields. Purchase group: select correct Buyer Select the check box by Visible to Supplier if the comments should be printed on the PO. 1 2 3 3 4 Module 3 – Create a Non-Catalog Requisition

Edit Line Item Select line items to enter accounting and shipping information. Click Action. Select Edit Accounting Assignment is the most critical field in accounting section. It determines if the PO will be charged to a regular cost center, fixed asset account, project/WBS, inventory or Internal Order. Verify or change the accounting and shipping information for the item. Please ensure you select the correct plant for your department. 1 1 2 2 Click Edit to edit an item Click Copy to add an identical line item to the requisition. Click Delete to delete an item. 8 Submit the Requisition
Click Show Approval Flow. All required approvals will appear. To view the person assigned to each role, click the name of the role. Click Submit. The requisition will go to the first approver in the flow. After that person approves the requisition, it will go to the next person in the flow. Note: The requisition may split to multiple POs if it contains items from more than one bill to, ship to, contract or supplier. Module 3 - Create a Non-Catalog Requisition
