2. The Punch Out Catalog System The Punch Out shopping catalog for VWR takes the user directly into the vendor’s website and online catalog while remaining within Arizona BuyWays. All browsing, shopping, real-time inventory lookup and pricing are done from the vendor’s website and their catalog. When finished shopping and putting items into a shopping cart, all the information is automatically transferred back to Arizona BuyWays for requisitioning, account code distribution, shipping information, approving and creating purchase orders. To change the quantity on an item that has been added to a requisition, return to VWR, put the item back into the cart with the new quantity and checkout. The new quantity will override what is in the requisition. VWR is located under the Lab Supplies Category for Arizona BuyWays.

3. Office Depot Tool Bar Functions The following header tool bar options can be used for creating orders: 1) To find and select items by searching the on-line catalog, utilize the Products Tab. This is similar to searching through a paper catalog. 2) “Search” the on-line catalog using keywords (i.e. test tube) or product numbers ( 60996-012) 3) To enter item numbers and quantities directly on an order form, select “Order Entry” from the navigation bar at the top of the page. 4) Create a personalized shopping list or add items to your shopping cart from an existing list by selecting “Shopping List”. 5) Advanced search functions are available by clicking the “MSDS Search” tab, the “Chemical Search” tab or the “More Options Tab”. 4. Browsing the Catalog Browsing the catalog enables the user to narrow a search to specific items. 1)From the Tool bar, select the Products tab. The screen displays a list of refined subcategories by catalog. Click on a Catalog type to view. A list of available catalogs will remain visible on the left hand side of the screen under “Choose Catalog”. 2)The screen will now display a list of categories within the catalog. Select the category, and continue to drill down by description until the desired product is displayed. 3) The item can be selected by clicking the Add to Basket button.

Browsing the Catalog – Advanced Search Options Advanced Search options enables the user to narrow the search by product type, item number or description. 1)If you know the item number, manufacturer number or item description, enter the information in the Search field. 2)The screen will display one or more items for you to choose from. Select the item desired or continue to drill down by description until the desired product is displayed. 3)The item can be selected by clicking the Add to Basket button. 4)Run a “power” search for advanced search capabilities such as searching for a chemical or an item using a competitor item number; use the MSDS Search button, the Chemical Search button or the More Options button. 5) Select the tab for your search (for example the Power Search tab). Enter the desired information and click Search. 6) Search Results allow you to select an item, refine your search by supplier, refine your search by keyword, or narrow the search by category.

7. Order by Item # Order Entry Using Order Entry screen, one can quickly enter up to fifty items directly to the Shopping Basket by entering the VWR item numbers and quantities. To display the Order Entry screen, select Order Entry on the navigation bar. 1) Type the VWR item number in the VWR Number field. 2) Type in the quantity desired in the Qty Order field. 3) If you know the unit of measure, include it in the Unit field, if not, leave blank and the system will populate the field for you. 4) When finished, select the Add to Basket button.

8. Saved Shopping Lists Adding Items to a Saved Shopping List Create a Shopping List In the Shopping Basket, a user may store their frequently used items in a Shopping List. A user may have as many lists as they like. 1)Take items to the Shopping Basket 2)Click on “Save as a Shopping List” 3)Name the List 4)To access Saved Shopping List; Click on My Accounts and Click on Shopping Lists. Add Items to a Saved Shopping List Find the catalog page of the item(s) you wish to add using one or more of the following methods. 1. Order Entry - Enter VWR cat #, unit of measure, and quantity, and Add to Basket. 2. Click on VWR cat # (from Shopping Basket). 3. Search - Perform search and click on blue, underlined description. 4. Select Shopping List. 5. Click Add to Shopping List.

9. Placing Your Order Once you have added all items for purchase to your basket, select the Shopping Basket button found in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Review the items in Your Shopping Cart screen; click Update Basket if you have made any changes and then proceed with your purchase. Click Checkout. The VWR items will automatically be transferred into the Arizona BuyWays requisition. To return to Arizona BuyWays without adding an item to the requisition, click the Cancel Punchout button.

Please call VWR representative for pricing and ordering information.” It is possible there may be a substitute product but unlikely it is the exact product.
