November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL1 Commissioning Needs – MICO83 m. apollonio  g. cecchet

November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL2 design completed (Geoff) and device installed on Friday 30 th (Roger) guillotine with 3 polyethilene blades (14, 29, 55) mm covering a range of values [14,29,…,98]mm manually operated from the turret: no access to DSA, max flexibility! proton absorber Shut Down wire control proton absorber GVA1

November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL3 Identifying “best position” are ~20 routing out of the synch. Paul’s best choice –10 m from TGT –Not worried being close to wall –Happy being close to D1 I reckon (3) is closer to it (1) is too close (rate) (2) is past the ring (does ISIS like it?) Luminosity monitor Shut Down 4.3 m 6.3 m >8 m ~20m

November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL4 Structure column Partially shadows beam to LumiMon 3a b Luminosity monitor

November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL5 TOF2 installation Arrival : expected November 24 th Needs: decide cable route + effort for installation Mechanical Support: for TOF2 + KL + EM - position?

November 4th 2009MICE CM25 - RAL6 Hi Marco, I've been trying to sort out a RAL with a name like mice-dm that would be similar to the mice-om address that you use as MOM. This address is needed because the data mover account will need to have GRID certificates and join mailing lists to do with the RAL Tier 1, and as such we want it to be a single point of contact (like the MOM) even though like the MOM it may move from person to person over time. … Could you raise it at the next MICO meeting? Thanks, Malcolm … DONE: who’s responsible for that? GRID certificate for Data Mover
