Creating a folder ► Click on folders Create Folder button ► Name folder (e.g., sent) In: Z# Type: Mailbox ► Sent folder will be used to store copies of sent s from this account
Changing options ► Click on Options General Settings ► Change Session timeout to 40 minutes To prevent system from closing on you while you are working in it ► Change Sent folder setting from “Disable” to “Sent” System will store sent copies in sent folder
forwarding ► Click on Options Mailbox Management ► Under Forwarding: At “Enabled:” option, select Yes At “Forward To:”, enter non-NIU ► Warning about forwarding – If size allowed in either mailbox is full, will bounce is the primary method of communication for this class
Composing ► Click on Compose (main menu) ► Standard recipient functions (To:, Cc:, Bcc:) ► Standard Subject line and message body ► Attaching files Click “Browse” button next to “Add file” option Find file on computer and select After selecting file, you must click “Attach” button This may be done for multiple files
