Contact the Student Affairs Office …a student service learning project for the end of the school year…

Contact the Student Affairs Office Drive for Supplies is a school and locker clean-out project to collect and distribute used, yet usable school supplies to local and international schools, non-profit agencies that work with children and children’s charities.

Contact the Student Affairs Office

Designate a Drive for Supplies coordinator to organize groups of students and staff to help with this important effort. The coordinator’s responsibilities include organizing student teams to collect, sort, box, and label usable supplies. Notify the Student Affairs Office of your school’s participation by completing the link on the Drive for Supplies web page- md.org/departments/studentaffairs/sao/supplies/

Contact the Student Affairs Office As this project emphasizes environmental concerns and social responsibility, you may find it appropriate to involve science teachers, social studies teachers, student government advisors, your student service learning coordinator, and your recycling coordinator.

Contact the Student Affairs Office The Department of Materials Management will deliver the collection boxes, labels, and tape to middle and high schools in mid/lateMay and to elementary schools at the beginning of June.

Contact the Student Affairs Office

Weigh your boxed supplies and keep data records of your school’s donations each year!

Contact the Student Affairs Office Box up the supplies from your school and be sure that they are near the front school entrance for pick up during the first two weeks of July.

Contact the Student Affairs Office Report the number of boxes that your school collected by completing the link on the Drive for Supplies web page- departments/studentaffairs/sao/supplies/

Contact the Student Affairs Office “…This program is absolutely amazing. It requires so little but it does so much for the people who receive the supplies…” Student Service Learning Reflection…

Contact the Student Affairs Office “…I learned that many students, including myself, usually throw away good supplies which other students can use…” Student Service Learning Reflection…

Contact the Student Affairs Office I learned that it is very rewarding to do something that helps others. I realize now that I am really fortunate to have all that I have.” Student Service Learning Reflection…
