2 2 Testing Dates BAT #1 BAT #1: September 23-27 (30 th for Elementary), 2013 September 26 th is not a testing day Grades 3-10, and EOC enrolled students Grades 3-10, and EOC enrolled students Student Assessment and Research packed the materials for BAT 1 for all schools. While you are not required to participate in BAT 1, we do encourage you to participate. We hope to provide the results from BAT 1 in a timely manner (2 weeks) and give schools 10 weeks of instruction and intervention time between BAT 1 and BAT 2

6 6 All Students at Selected Schools Participate in BAT Participation: In 2013-14 all grade 3-5 students will participate in a comprehensive Math BAT. In 2013-14 all grade 3-5 students will participate in a comprehensive Math BAT. Most 6-8 grade students will take a comprehensive Math BAT. However, those students enrolled in Algebra, Geometry or Biology in grades 6-8 will take either Algebra, Geometry or Biology instead of a comprehensive Math or Science BAT. However, those students enrolled in Algebra, Geometry or Biology in grades 6-8 will take either Algebra, Geometry or Biology instead of a comprehensive Math or Science BAT. Algebra/Geometry/Biology/US History/Civics are enrollment based. If a MS or HS student (6-12) is enrolled in one of the classes on page 2 of the BAT manual, they take the corresponding BAT EOC assessment.
