Expectations: Dress Code A Business suit is required for all members of the Sixth Form – this should be black, dark grey or navy blue in colour and will consist of tailored jacket with matching trousers or skirt. Smart shirt or blouse (spaghetti strapped/vest tops are not permitted). Shoes should be equally appropriate (not flip-flops, trainers, canvas, boots or stilettos). Shorts, three quarter length trousers and denim are not permitted. Facial piercings and body tattoos should not be visible.

Expectations: Dress Code Girls’ make-up should be discreet. Hair must be neat, of a natural colour and not shaven. Jewellery may be worn as long as it is discreet and does not compromise health and safety standards. Hoodies are not appropriate and are not to be worn in or out of school. V-necked plain, dark coloured jumpers (with no pattern) rather than crew necks. This is a mixed environment so we ask students to dress modestly (cleavage, midriffs and underwear should not be on show, skirts should not be worn higher than mid-thigh, skirts and trousers should not be tight).

Expectations: Attendance School average is 98% Punctuality is monitored and acted upon 1 st day of absence, ring school On day of return, we expect a note from parents If absence is planned and outside normal rules, request leave of absence in writing in advance to the Head or Mrs Tolley

Expectations: Attendance All students in school from 8.30 to 1.50 When we believe year has settled, afternoon study leave is offered to those who are making good progress Will be some time after parents evening, requires your written agreement A privilege, not a right! Time is for study, not driving lessons, paid work etc

Key Dates: Results KEFW candidates – If you DID meet your offer, we will have a record, well done! – If you did NOT meet your offer, there will be a letter with your results with further instructions – If you will not be here on results day, you need to inform Mrs Black in writing who will collect your results. You need to be contactable in case there is a problem, being abroad when you might need an interview is a problem

Key Dates: Results Non KEFW candidates – If you DID meet your offer, bring all of your GCSE paperwork into school on Friday 22nd Aug at the time stated in your personal letter, including any exams taken in Years 9 & 10. You do not need to phone us on the 21st. – If you DID NOT meet some of the conditions of your offer, please come in on Friday 22nd Aug where we will discuss whether there is anything to be done. You may have to wait a short time to see someone.

Key Dates: Results Non KEFW candidates – If you decide not to take up your offer of a place at Five Ways, please ring us on Thursday 21st Aug so that we are able to offer your place to other applicants. – If you are not going to be able to come in on Friday 22nd Aug, please let Ms Gouldbourn know ASAP. Official grade sheets can be faxed from your school, but we will not accept phone calls or s as proof of results.

Key Dates: Induction Thursday 28 th to Friday 29th, residential in Cleobury Mortimer Students will get wet and muddy, bring several changes of clothes! Also bring writing materials

Financial Support Is your son or daughter entitled to Free School Meals? Bursary entitlement - Free School Meals, Instrumental Tuition fees, Educational Trips, Travel & Uniform grants can be claimed.
