NEW MERCY CENTER

Dramatic 35 foot tall Bright Silver Building entrance cross. Recognition by custom engraved plaque. This Cross will be up lit at night and will occupy a prominent location at the entry to the New Mercy Center. Mercy Center II – Entry Cross

Description: Ground floor entry lobby composed of 772 sf of lobby and gathering space. This area will be finished with a porcelain tile floor and distinctive lighting Mercy Lobby Center II

Description: The Mercy Center II Catering Kitchen will be composed of 516 sf of warming kitchen to be used for events where food service or catering is required. The kitchen will be equipped with state of the art food service equipment and refrigeration. Mercy Center II – Catering Kitchen

Description: The Mercy Center II Auditorium will be composed of a 350 seat Auditorium and Dining Area. The Auditorium will serve as the Schools main function facility and the church’s event center. Mercy Center II – Auditorium

NEW MERCY CENTER SECOND FLOOR

Description: Mercy Center II Conference and Meeting rooms (3 available) have been designed to accommodate the Church’s outreach ministries and various meeting functions. They will be outfitted with meeting room furniture and conference tables suitable for these type of events. The larger conference room will be equipped with a divider to make into two smaller conference rooms should the need arise. Mercy Center II - Ministries Conference Rooms

Description: Mercy Center II Arts Labs (4 available) have been designed to accommodate the schools visual and performing arts programs. The art labs shall consist of a fine arts lab, a music lab, a computer lab and a drama lab. They will be outfitted with art room furniture and tables suitable for these type of classes. Description: Mercy Center II – Second Floor gathering Space has been designed to accommodate the pre-function activities of the Ministries Conference rooms and Social Lounge. NEW MERCY CENTER GAZEBO

Mercy Center II - Gazebo Description: The Saint Joan of Arc Gazebo will be expanded to include a 1428 sf kitchen for school lunches and will be enclosed with folding glass walls for climate control.

Description: The existing Gazebo has been designed to be enclosed with a folding hurricane resistant glazing system that can be fully opened during nice days and closed on days when the weather is not suitable. This system will protect the structure from windborne debris and allow for climate control within the structure. Gazebo Enclosure

Description: The Gazebo has been designed to allow for full climate control with a state of the art high efficiency air conditioning and heating system. This will allow for the use of the gazebo during both hot and cold days. Gazebo Climate Control

Description: New Gazebo furnishings are being proposed which will better suit this building and the lunch functions it is intended for. Gazebo Furnishings

NEW MERCY CENTER COVERED WALKWAYS

Promenade 1 Description: Saint Joan of Arc proposed Promenade 1 has been designed to allow a covered connection from the Sanctuary to the new Mercy Center II. This covered promenade will also serve as a covered drop off / pick up area for students.

Promenade 2 Description: Saint Joan of Arc Promenade 2 has been designed to allow a covered connection from the parking lot & drop off area to the Gazebo and school building.

Promenade 3 Description: Saint Joan of Arc Promenade 3 has been designed to allow a covered connection from the gazebo to the new Mercy Center rear stair & Palm Court covered patio.

NEW MERCY CENTER GARDENS

Description: The Mercy Center II prayer Garden has been designed as a place of prayer and contemplation. It will be designed with extensive landscaping and a covered patio. It will be a place for future memorial statuary and gardens. Prayer Garden

Description: The Reflection Garden will be located at the previous entrance to the Mercy Center and will act as a memorial court to the humble beginnings of this parish. It have located within it the Ten Commandments sculpture and will be will landscaped with majestic Royal or Date palms. Reflection Garden

Description: An open air Palm Court has been designed between the New Mercy Center and the existing Gymnasium. This area will serve as a pre-function and outdoor event space. The area will be paved with custom pavers and landscaped with majestic royal palms that will be up lit at night. Palm Court

Description: The new Athletic and play field will be located between the existing Gymnasium and Multipurpose building. This location will allow for a larger Youth League Soccer field and open sports play area. The area will accommodate the schools outdoor sports programs and recess activities. An electronic scoreboard will also be available for naming opportunities. Athletic and Play Field

Description: Inviting, curved entry walls will flank all three campus site entrances/exits on SW 3rd Street, SW 3rd Avenue, and SW 4th Avenue, and will clearly define the campus space with the St. Joan of Arc name and logo. The main entrance will be accessed from SW 3rd Avenue, with the existing parking lot to the right (north). Three New Campus Entrances

Description: A “wish list” for classroom educational enrichment improvements is requested for two reasons: 1) So that children that are struggling in class can get the extra help they need, and 2) So that gifted SJA students will be challenged to soar to their full academic potential. (This is rendering is for conceptual purposes) Enrichment Program

Description: The new Exterior Lighting Scheme for the Mercy Center II has been designed to provide a dramatic lighting effect for evening events. The lights will highlight the Architectural elements of the building as well as provide safe lighting levels around the building. Up-lighting of the Palm Court Royal Palm Trees will create a dramatic outdoor event area during balmy evening nights. Mercy Center II – Exterior Lighting
