Famous Agents Travel Agent Education & Rewards Program February 2010

Welcome to Famous Agents! Famous Agents is Fairmont Raffles Hotels International’s travel agent education and rewards program. It encompasses Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Swissotel Hotels & Resorts. To enroll, simply visit www.frhi.com/famousagents, review three lesson modules – one for each Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel – and answer ten multiple choice questions for each module. You must answer a minimum of seven correct answers for each module to proceed to the application form and complete your enrollment. From beginning to end, the enrollment process will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon completion of the online enrollment process, you’ll immediately receive a membership number, which you can use to track your client reservations and earn Famous Agents points. You’ll also receive a membership kit in the mail approximately 4-6 weeks later.

Benefit #1: Education & Information Informative lesson modules will enable you to enhance your knowledge of Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel. This will allow you to strengthen the loyalty you enjoy with your clients and increase your earning power. You’ll receive bi-monthly e-newsletters featuring information on new hotels, programs and services. You’ll also have exclusive access to client and travel agent offers from our hotels and resorts worldwide. Equipped with the latest news from Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel, you’ll plan unforgettable travel experiences for your clients.

Member E-Newsletter “Spotlight”, the Famous Agents newsletter, sent to members bi-monthly. It includes the following information: News and information about new hotels, programs and services Famous Agents program information and updates Client and member offers

Famous Agents Website Visit the Famous Agents website often, to be the first to learn about special offers for you and your clients – including: Client Offers: Special rates, packages Travel Agent Offers: Free night offers, cash back incentives, invitations to member-only events News: New hotel openings, renovation updates, program updates, special events Special offers are posted in one of the three sections below: Client Offers, Travel Agent Offers or News.

Benefit #2: Member Rewards – Earning Points You will earn one point per room night, for reservations in all room categories, and for wholesale bookings. You’ll also earn bonus points, based on the USD value of your client’s total room revenue per stay, as follows: $3000USD to $4999USD = Double Points $5000USD to $9999USD = Triple Points $10,000USD and higher = Quadruple Points Remember to include your Famous Agents number in your client reservations, at the time of reservation. Your points will automatically be added to your Famous Agents account after your clients check out.

Benefit #2: Member Rewards – Redeeming Points You can redeem your points for a variety of exciting rewards: Complimentary Room Nights City Center Hotel – Standard Room: 50 Points City Center Hotel – Junior Suite: 75 Points Resort – Standard Room: 75 Points Resort – Junior Suite: 125 Points You may redeem your points for a maximum of two consecutive nights per stay; additional nights may be booked at the at the Famous Agents rate (subject to availability). Gift Cards (Fairmont, Raffles, American Express) $25USD Value Gift Card: 25 Points $50USD Value Gift Card: 50 Points $100USD Value Gift Card: 100 Points There is no limit on gift card redemptions – in fact, we have members who have redeemed their points for as much as $1500USD in gift cards per transaction! To redeem your points, login to your account and click “redeem my points”.

Tracking Client Reservations Upon enrollment, you’ll receive a six-digit Famous Agents membership number. This is the number you will use to track your client reservations and earn Famous Agents points for yourself. Reservations Booked Through GDS Enter FA + number in the Special Instructions (SI) field. Ex: FA123456 Reservations Booked Online (www.fairmont.com, www.raffles.com or www.swissotel.com): Enter FA + your number in the Famous Agents field. Ex: FA123456 Reservations Booked Through Our Call Center or Hotel Direct: Quote your Famous Agents number to the reservation agent.

Tracking Client Reservations (continued) Reservations Booked Through Wholesale Channels: Wholesale reservations must be manually tracked in the Famous Agents booking tracker. Step 1: Log into your Famous Agents account. Step 2: Click “My Account” on the toolbar, and select “Submit my wholesale bookings” from the drop- down menu. Step 3: Fill out the form, and click “Submit” at the bottom of the page. It takes just seconds to enter each client reservation in the Famous Agents booking tracker, and the points will be credited to your account after your clients check out.

and clicking “make a reservation at the Famous Agents rate”. Benefit #3: Member Rate You’ll have exclusive access to reduced travel agent rates for your own personal travel. And, as our preferred guest, you’ll also receive a welcome gift and a guided hotel tour. The member rate must be booked online, by logging into your Famous Agents account and clicking “make a reservation at the Famous Agents rate”. It is not available through the GDS, our call center or hotel in-house reservation departments.
