Shopping bags or business cards can also give customers a reminder. You can then direct customers to your page where they will enter the promo code to receive their offer instead of the default welcome offer.

Customers can receive a bonus for each referral, and extra points for every purchase their friends make. You can merge the PURL into any email using the !:PURL:! field. Control your referral bonus settings in My Account / Program Settings.

Add Affiliates in the “Affiliates” section and they can promote their PURL page for sign ups. Customers can then choose an Affiliate from their profile page to benefit from their purchases. You can control the Affiliate point ratios at My Account / Account settings / Program Settings.

In SalesBuilder, this is edited in the “My Account” / Account Settings area: Click on Program Settings to modify the page background color Click on the “Sign Up Page” button (top right) if you want to modify the html source of the page even further.

The more you ask, the fewer people will sign up, but you’ll have more data to work with. You may want to limit fields on the sign up, then ask for more on the “profile” which they will have to fill out to get their first offer. In SalesBuilder, this is edited in the “My Account” / Account Settings area: Click on Program Settings and scroll down to this section

19 Add Custom Fields 19 Want to ask customers something special? You can use custom “tags” on your sign up form to ask questions like: Do you shop online? Are you* Are you interested in hair products?
