Academic Policies (available on the website) You must have a minimum GPA of 1.9 to come to SUNY New Paltz. New students must maintain a cGPA of 2.00 for economics and 2.75 for business. Students who fall below these levels will be put on academic probation. The cGPA must be raised to the appropriate level the following semester to avoid dismissal.
