What is Capacity? Capacity = Resources + Readiness Various types and levels of resources within the county and within an organization, such as a coalition The county’s level of readiness to engage in and support prevention efforts.

Resource Mapping Process 1.Scan the Resources Create a comprehensive list of all services that prevent substance abuse Include the names of the organizations that provide these services Document information in chart provided

County System Capacity Checklist  This checklist will be completed by the countywide coalition/Collaboration Council members  It will then be scored by the SPF SIG Coordinator and results submitted to IDPH
