Digital Citizenship Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement

Objective: Today I will be able to discuss and explain the rules I need to follow when using technology in the classroom.

Technology Computers, mobile devices, cell phones, websites, and the internet.

Offensive Disgusting or unpleasant; Causing displeasure or annoyance; Being insulting.

Cite To name or refer to in a citation.

Misuse To use incorrectly.

RULE # 1 I will use school technology only for class work or school activities. I will not use a website unless told to do so by a teacher or a school staff member.

RULE # 2 I will keep all personal account numbers, passwords, and addresses private. I will use school technology only with my personal information

RULE # 3 I will not use, post, send, submit, publish, or display offensive messages or media.

RULE # 4 I will not use to give my name, address, telephone number, social security number, or other personal information to anyone.

RULE # 10 I will use a personal cell phone or digital device only when instructed to by a teacher or school staff member and in agreement with all school and District policies. I will not use a cell phone or a digital device to share images or other personal information without permission.
