Academic Highlights The percent of all students at Martin Middle School scoring proficient and advanced in math (90%) is one percentage point higher than the state average and has steadily improved. The percent of all students at Martin Middle School scoring proficient and advanced in reading and language (91%) is three percentage points higher than the state average and has steadily improved. A grade of “A” has been achieved by our students for the past four years ( ) on the state’s writing assessment.

GOALS and PERFORMANCE TARGETS DECREASE THE PERCENT OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED AND STUDENTS WITH DISABILTIES SCORING BELOW PROFICIENT IN MATH BY 10% EACH YEAR FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS. DECREASE THE PERCENT OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED AND STUDENTS WITH DISABILTIES SCORING BELOW PROFICIENT IN READING AND LANGUAGE BY 10% EACH YEAR FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS.
