Pronombres Personales: Background Information (Pá. 82 ) Use your text to complete the notes below. Be sure to read carefully. These notes WILL help you do well in this unit! We often use names to tell who is doing an action. We also can use subject pronouns in place of the names. There are two additional pronouns used in Spain. They are : vosotros and vosotras. These pronouns are used when we speak to 2 or more people that we would call tú if we were speaking to them as individuals. There are 3 pronouns that mean you. –Use tú with family members, close friends, people your age or younger, & anyone you call by a first name. –Use Usted (Ud) with adults & anyone addressed respectfully (such as Sr, Sra, Srta) –Use Ustedes (Uds) with ANY 2 or more people to whom you are speaking Otro lado
