Lesson Mini - lesson: Class discussion on times people stood up to a bully. List emotions the bully and the hero may feel. List words that will help convey those feelings in writing. I will demonstrate how to use the mind map on to organize ideas. Students job: Students will go to their computers and brainstorm ideas for their story. Students may begin to write their stories using Microsoft word. Stories must be competed by October 28th to be sent into the contest.
