Dodgeball is a game for children but also for teenagers Dodgeball is a game for children but also for teenagers. It’s not difficult but it can be very interesting and good for relax. For the game you need only playground or another place (which isn’t smaller than 100 m²) rectangle divided into two equal parts and the ball (it can be volleyball).  If you want you can also play Dodgeball in the forest or garden.

RULES In the game two teams have to compete (with the same number of players. Depending on the place it’ll be 3 to even 20 people in the same team). Before the start each team have to choose ‘mother’ (or captain)- the person who is standing up behind the field of the game of the opposite team.

The game is based on mutual ‘killing’- it means that you have to hit a person from the other team with a ball. Players (without ‘mother’) mustn’t leave their part of the playground area. Mother is at the back and catches every ball which leaves the court and the opposing team may also hit her (throwing from the back edge of the pitch). The hit (point) occurs when the thrown ball touches a player of the opposite team and hits the ground. 

Depending on the fixed rules, the game is "on break" or "points" Depending on the fixed rules, the game is "on break" or "points". The first possibility means that the player hit the pitch goes down (then the team which lose all the players is a loser).  The game for points counts on that every break is counted as one point, the team which scores the most points wins.  There are other versions, such as a ‘killed’ person replaces ‘mother’, became a second mother or help mother.
