Classmate Interview Assignment You will be assigned a partner to interview and work with for the next few days in class. One objective of this assignment is to learn about people in class that you may or may know. The other objective is to share the information you learned with class via a presentation. Presentations will begin on Monday of next week. Follow the following steps to prepare for the presentation: –Meet with and begin a dialogue with your partner. –Take notes on their personal information (where they’re from, what year they are in school, their likes & dislikes, & other interesting things about them) –When you’ve got enough information, write a two page (typed double-spaced) introduction about your partner. Be sure to paint an accurate picture, but you should also be entertaining. You could choose to tell a story with the information you get or simply create an essay-like biographical write up about your partner. –You can say “my partner likes the color blue,” but that’s not interesting and your classmates will become bored very quickly. –Share your assignment with your partner and be sure that they approve. –Rehearse your presentation.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? What do you plan on doing after school? What are your ambitions in life? Do you have a quote to live by? What’s your favorite city/sports team? What’s an event that changed your life & how? Who is your favorite band/musician? Do you have a job? Describe your family. What are your hobbies? Do you have a nickname? What’s your favorite food/restaurant? What’s your zodiac symbol? Do you have any pets? What’s your favorite movie or TV show? What’s your middle name? What’s your relationship status?
