HRM ASSIGNMENT Submit on Blackboard no later than 4pm Friday 7 December 2018 (week 11)   Your bibliography should be roughly 70% drawn from the course reading-list and 30% from your own literature search.

OB part Assignment 2: OB An individual essay, maximum 2500 words in length. Task: Select one of the following topics from the field of Organisational Behaviour:   Employee Motivation Organisational Culture Organisational Conflict Work Groups and Teams Leadership    Provide a critical appraisal of the contribution that work in this area has made to our understanding of human behaviour in an organisational setting.

Assessment Criteria Assessment Criteria – Assignment 2 Indicative weighting Ability to identify, comprehend and explain the relevance of key theories and concepts drawn from the literature on Organisational Behaviour. 30% Evidence of ability to analyse and critically evaluate the material you use. 20% Ability to demonstrate and evaluate the practical applications of the material covered through the use of appropriate examples and illustrations. Evidence of ability to independently research the topic and make effective use of relevant and up to date academic sources. Presentation in an acceptable format, within the specified length, to a good standard of English and correctly referenced using the Harvard system. 10% Hand in Details: Your completed essay should be submitted via Blackboard by 4pm on FRIDAY 18 January 2019.

Expectations for presenting Pecha Kuchas: Have Pecha Kucha prepared and loaded onto Pecha Kucha board. Test it works and rehearse before class. Answer questions from audience. At end of HRM assignment write one side of self-reflection on class contribution including Pecha Kuchas.

Other Seminar activities There are also other seminar activities. Make sure you have read the material and printed it off before class.

What can go wrong in the seminar? The seminar hour is wasted for all the other students and tutor. Everyone is let down.
