It’s time to update your Student Service Plan Folder!

Self-Assessment Page Update Your Interests, Priorities, and Skills What are your interests? What is most important to you? What do you do well? How much education do you plan to commit to?

Self-Assessment Page Update References Who would recommend you for a job or a scholarship? (Teacher, Adult, Counselor, Employer?) Update Extra Curricular Activities Add clubs, after school programs, etc. Update Community Service/Volunteer Activities Do you volunteer at the hospital? Your church?

Self Assessment Page Update Awards/Certificates Update Work Experience What awards have you received? Examples: MVP, Perfect Attendance, Panther of the Term, Academic Award Update Work Experience Include all work experience Babysitting, mowing your neighbor’s lawn, working at the family business, etc.

Four-Year Education Plan Page Review the unit requirements for graduation Are you on track to graduate? Are you on track to complete the UC/CSU (A-G Course) requirements? Are you planning on going to a community college or trade school? Check out the requirements. Are you an athlete? Don’t forget to check out the NCAA requirements.

The information in your Student Service Plan Folder will help you write an Academic Resume when you are a Senior.

The Academic Resume will be required when you apply for scholarships or other programs/opportunities. It can be extremely beneficial even when you apply for a job!!!

Make sure to keep the information in your folder up to date.
