SENIOR ACTIVITIES 2014/15 School Year Senior Class Officer Elections: Mandatory Meeting March 26th @ lunch (ASG room, 31M) Senior Registration Mailers: Mailed home over summer, VERY important. Make sure your address is correct! Important information in packets: Senior Portraits (Cornerstone), Senior Contract (must bring to registration to get a parking permit). Senior Tribute Yearbook Ads – September/October (see yearbook website to order) Senior Activities 2015: Packets distributed in January 2015 with all the activities (Senior Picnic, Grad Nite, Senior Showcase, Senior Awards Night, Baccalaureate, Graduation) Prom: Saturday, June 6, 2015 Look for this information and more in the summer mailer and online.

Typical Senior Schedule: Typical day: Periods 1-5 (7 a.m. to 12:07 p.m.) May not enroll in less than 5 classes To be on track for 5 period day, your student must have earned 180 credits by end of junior year Required courses for ALL seniors: English 12 Government/Economics 3 electives Other classes your senior might need: Math Science Visual and performing art World language P.E. Athletic (if required by coach) Additional elective credits

Credit Deficient Students Some students may require additional classes based on credit deficiencies in various subject areas Students entering grade 12 who have earned below 155 credits are considered “Credit Deficient” View transcript and credit information on Zangle Ways to make-up credits: Pre-register for remedial summer school with counselor: Session 1: June 17-July 2 Session 2: July 7-July 24 ROP: Vocational ed. classes in computers, health careers, graphic arts and more. Held at Camarillo Airport Transportation available Work Experience 5 credits per semester for 10 hours per week 10 credits per semester for 20 hours per week Adult Education Courses (counselor referral required) Online Courses (approval required) Transfer to CVHS if under 155 credits

Registration is online beginning Feb 4 STUDENTS WILL MEET INDIVIDUALLY WITH COUNSELORS BETWEEN 2/4 thru 2/13 TO DISCUSS COURSE SELECTIONS Must log in with STUDENT id and password! After logging in, students add course requests to Zangle. These requests are confirmed during the individual student meetings. Students must also bring the blue registration sheet to the individual meeting.
