Please have proper running shoes for ALL practices. The Athletic Shoe Shop in Newton is a good place to get running shoes and track spikes. www.theathleticshoeshop.com They give a HMSTF discount. Suggested but not required. Distance runners- an optional running watch is suggested. Please bring a water bottle to practice every day!

Practice meeting location for warmups and drills Area BEHIND the softball fields Sprint practices will generally be in the main practice area although we may occasionally hit the hill. Jumps will generally be in the main practice area but may use the main gym some days. Shot put will be in the main practice area in a place TBD. Distance will use the main practice area and will have distance courses mapped out. Advanced distance group will have longer distance runs. The hill will also be used. 500m Hill Practice Area
