John Marshall Chief Justice Marbury v. Madison Marbury was supposed to get one of the jobs assigned by Adams. He took his case to the Supreme Court. Supreme Court ruled that it didn’t have jurisdiction to intervene, but established Judicial Review and the Supremacy of the Constitution.
