Kind kangaroo By,Marina

Habitat They are sometimes found in Hawaii . They are found in Australia. And if they live in Hawaii they are found in grass .

Kangaroo babies They are tiny enough to fit into their mom’s pouch. Instead of a moms belly it grows in their pouch . They can have 3 babies at one time.

Animal diet They eat grass and leaves. Also roots, carrots, and apples.

Interesting facts/special features A male is called a buck boomer or a jack. The kangaroo has a special language. Babies are called joey.

Physical characteristics They swallow there food without chewing. They are active at night not during the day. They can run up to 40 miles per hour. Kangaroos live up to 6 years. Kangaroos grow up to 300 pounds and 6 feet. Kangaroos don’t need a lot of water. Kangaroos can jump 6 feet high. They can travel 45 feet high in 1 jump.

kangaroos I chose the kangaroo because I like how it looks and all it’s facts . Kangaroos also look like dogs . Kangaroos are very interesting animals . That’s why I chose this animal .
