Literacy Homework: Friday 16th January 2015 How it came to be? Choose a picture and create a short story based around how one of the pictures opposite came to be. Make sure you select appropriate grammar and vocabulary, with your choices understanding how such choices can change and enhance meaning You may wish to create a short story, a wonderful descriptive piece of writing or a longer poem describing the scene or story behind it. Your short story must have a beginning, middle and end, and needs to include a character and great setting description. I need to get a clear idea of what your character is all about – their attitude, their appearance, their feelings and their motivation (what makes them do what they do). Red Group – try to use the ‘passive voice’ - e.g. instead of ‘He broke the window.’, let the non active part begin the sentence – ‘The window was broken by) You must use VCOP and your checklist.
