Important things to Remember School Hours: 7:50am-3:20pm Breakfast line closes at 7:50 am Student breakfast: FREE for ALL Student lunch: $2.20 Reduced lunch: $0.40 Brings tennis shoes/water for PE

Important things to Remember Medications, including cough drops, must be checked in the nurse’s office by a parent. Birthday celebrations: parents may purchase ice cream from the cafeteria for students. No food may be brought in from outside the school for a student other than your own. Additionally, students are not permitted to distribute invitations or other food items.

Daily Schedule/Specials Rotation Daily schedule and specials rotation will be posted on teacher webpages.

Homework Homework will not exceed 40 minutes per night. Parents initial agenda each night. Math/Science Check agenda daily Reading/Writing read daily for 15 minutes Review Word Study Words

Behavior Policy Planners Students are expected to show kind, safe, and responsible behavior at all times. Planners 4th graders are encouraged to purchase a planner for $5.00 to record homework and conduct on a daily basis. Please check binder for returned work and important information. Newsletters and other campus information will be sent home on Thursdays.

Important Dates Please refer to Humble ISD Academic Calendar. Early Release Days: December 20, 2018 and May 31, 2019. Conferences All Day: October 23, 2018.

Attendance We love our students at Humble El. and look forward to seeing them everyday. Please make sure your child is present, so he/she does not miss out on great learning experiences. Attendance will be taken at 9:15 You must send a note for absences within 48 hours.

Dismissal Procedures Students’ dismissal begins at 3:20. Please send a note and call the school before 2:15 if there is a dismissal change for your child. When checking out students from school, please be prepared to show your Driver’s License or ID. Walkers must LIVE in the neighborhood and be approved through the office. (No dismissal changes allowed for walkers) All dismissal changes must be made by 2:45.

Parent Communication Keeping our parents informed is important to us. We will share information with you in a variety of ways this school year: Email Phone calls Mass text messages through Schoolmessenger Remind 101 Notes home Please notify your child’s teacher if your phone number or email address changes.
