19 Early Arrival  7:15 A.M. School Opens.  Class Begins at 7:45 A.M.  Students go to cafeteria until 7:30.  Breakfast in the classroom

20 Absences  If your child is absent from school, please send a note or e-mail the day he/she returns, stating the reason for the absence.

21 Lunch  Breakfast is free for students.  Lunch costs $1.65 for students.  Our lunch time is 11:00-11:30 a.m.  If your child does not qualify for free/reduced lunch, you must pay for lunch or send a nutritious lunch to school with your child.  You may pay for your child’s lunch online (IISD website) or in the school cafeteria before school begins (7:45a.m.).  We do not recommend sending lunch money to school with your child. If you send money, please place in an envelope or Ziploc bag with the child’s name and teacher’s name on it. If you send a check, please write your Driver’s License # on the check.

22 Transportation  If there is a change in the way your child is getting home from school, please send a note, call the school (972)-600-7000, or send an email to notify us of the changes.  Please notify us even if the change is just for 1 day.

23 Change of Address or Phone Number  It is very important that the information we have on file is current. If your home address, phone number, or email address changes, please send a note to school with your child notifying us of the change. You may also email this information to the teacher (kstuart@irvingisd.net).

24 Conferences  Monday-Friday 2:05-2:55 (except Thursday) or before/after school when scheduled.  I will contact you for 2 conferences, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. But feel free to conference with me more than the minimum two times.

25 Planners/Purple Folders  Planners will be sent home daily.  Please check for behavior, sign, and send folder back to school each day with your child.  Every Thursday your child will also bring home a Thursday Purple Folder.  Please check for important school news, announcements, and upcoming events.  Reminders will also be sent out on ClassDojo.

26 Homework  Daily math fact practice, fluency practice, and spelling practice will be sent home.  Reading Calendars will be going home and are a chance for your child to win prizes.  Additional homework will be sent home as needed.

27 PTO  Please join and represent our class!!!  The cost is $8 per person.  Our PTO does wonderful things for our school!
