Influence of Multi-Grade Learning by Teaching Presented By - Dwipika Mishra Smrita Singh Shweta Bajpai

Hypothesis Multi-grade, learning by teaching influences student achievement.

Procedure The topic ‘Gender’ was transacted. A test was conducted . Students who scored <5 were re-taught the concept by the teacher. In Class I, the teacher asked questions on the topic ‘Gender’ and results were noted. Students of Class II were taken to Class I. They sat in the ratio of Class I to Class II as 1:2. Class II students taught the concept to Class I. Students were observed on certain parameters like eye- contact, knowledge of the topic & ability to express. Post test was given to Classes I & II. Scores of pre& post tests of both the classes were analysed.

RESULT OF CLASS II * * These students were re-taught the topic. They did not participate in teaching Class I.

Students’ Feedback The exercise was interesting, fun & entertaining. We want to do it again.
