4. Traditional Teaching
Teacher is the controller of the learning environment.
Knowledge is acquired through drill and practice.
Chalk and talk method and regimented classrooms.
Students are passive receiver of information.
Stress on theoretical rather than practical approach to teaching.
Focuses on skills and areas of knowledge in isolation.
Creativity and Innovation not enhanced.

5. Procedure Pre-test was conducted on the topic.
Study groups of four students were formed.
The groups shared unique insights and learnt from each other.
They presented the topics to each other.
Post-test was conducted which was a mirror test.
Results were analyzed.

6. Findings
Study groups were particularly effective for completing the given projects, developing presentations skills and preparing for the assessment.
Total involvement of class in an active way.
The teacher was a guide and a facilitator throughout the learning programme.
Learning outcome exceeded the expectations.
The strategy of making study groups proved to be very effective for enhancing learning.
