ART HIGH SCHOOL – DRAWING Concept Vocabulary: Observational Non-observational Reference material NON-OBSERVATIONAL Artists Elements and Principles Expressive Subject Matter Expressive Media Use Essential Understandings/Learning Goals: Students will understand the difference between observational and non-observational drawing. Students will understand how to gather and draw from reference material. Students will be able to use experience with materials to be selective with media choices. Students will be able to draw expressive images using the elements and principles without the use of stills or models.
