Money advice – are we looking at it in the right way? products people processes Lens of the organisation outcomes results benefits Lens of the customer

Money advice – where are we now? The figures UK personal debt is estimated at 8M in debt We are currently only reaching around 1.6M of that number The Bank of England has recently reported the highest rise in consumer credit in a decade By 2021, people will be worse off in real terms then they were in 2003 It is estimated 1 in 8 has some form of problem debt

The future – beyond immediate challenges How are we planning to build capacity? How are FCA authorised organisations looking to invest? What can we do together to tackle Problem Debt? Is technology an enabler or a solution? How far down the tech route can we foresee? What are the opportunities for innovating around Artificial Intelligence and Big Data? Will we see debt advice specialists in collection departments?
