2018 Review Non-compensation staff benefits Continuation of the fleet modernization plan: replacing 63 boats minimum from 2017 – 2023. In 2018 we purchased 7 new boats and are on track with the plan Sold one 8+ and one 4+/x Non-compensation staff benefits Professional development through the University of Washington Center for Leadership in Athletics and Positive Coaching Alliance Added parental leave and PTO in accordance with WA legislation Started the Polar Bear 5k Run for solely for scholarship funding Over $30K in scholarship assistance. 2018 Review Sammamish Rowing Association Annual Meeting

In 2018 the equipment committee devised a fleet modernization strategy with the mission to provide a fleet that ensures a consistent, high quality experience for all rowers at SRA To limit the maximum boat age to 7 years To standardize on one vendor for best purchasing power and ease of maintenance To make fleet management and costs sustainable for future rowers Adequate fundraising will be critical to achieve this goal. In 2018 we exceeded fundraising and equipment purchasing goals. To complete the fleet modernization, SRA must raise $1.1M between 2017 and 2023. Currently on track at ~25% completion with 14 new boats purchased for $260K. Fleet Modernization 2018 - 2023 Sammamish Rowing Association Annual Meeting
