As an alternative to viewing this presentation teachers are welcome to simply play with all of the options presented. You will NOT ‘break’ anything but you will find some great resources to support your teaching! PRESENTATION INTRODUCTION The aim of this presentation is to provide users with a guide to the resources available in the Planning, Teaching and Assessing menu options. This presentation has been specifically designed to assist teacher leaders to take colleagues through these 3 key menu options. Individual teachers will equally benefit from independently going through the presentation at their own pace. The presentation will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. However, it may take longer with group discussion time added in. It is recommended that you download and print a copy of the slides and notes. You can then refer to the notes with the presentation in Slide Show mode. Go to slide 2

Teacher This presentation describes how to create a Lesson Checklist to record student achievement. Please allow about 10 minutes to go through the presentation.

The Lesson Checklists Are Linked to Lessons You Have Created

Saving the Lesson Checklist

Saving the Lesson Checklist on Your Computer A Lesson Checklists can be created for any lesson Activity * As such you may create many Lesson Checklists * Each lesson Activity is linked to a Topic, then a sub-strand and finally a strand * This is the structure you should create to save your Lesson Checklists * For example your folder structure would look like this: Number and Algebra> Number and Place Value> Understands Whole Numbers> Activity 001 Lesson Checklist Activity 003 Lesson Checklist Activity 007 Lesson Checklist * There would be no need to keep a Lesson Checklist for every Activity you use * Keep them where you have decided an anecdotal or checklist record is required for the group/class * Open them at any time to consider student progress for forward planning and reporting
