University Overview Student Population – 20,000+ undergraduate and graduate Alumni population – 100,000+ living alumni Western Kentucky University is located in Bowling Green, KY and houses over 300 major, minor, and graduate programs. WKU has three regional campuses located in Glasgow, Owensboro, and Elizabeth-Fort Knox.

University Overview Student Population – 22,000+ undergraduate and graduate Alumni population – 130,000+ living alumni University of Louisville is located in Louisville, KY with more than 200 degree programs and 12 schools and colleges. UofL has three campuses location in Louisville: Belknap Campus, Health Science Campus, and Shelby Campus.

Young Alumni Council Formed between 2006-2008 Mission: The Young Alumni Council (YAC) provides an opportunity for young alumni to maintain ties to WKU and provides important feedback to the Alumni Association on programming. The focus is to educate young alumni about the programs, services and mission of the WKU Alumni Association, as well as to advance and support the general welfare of WKU with programs and scholarships. Affinity Alumni Councils List of Councils African American Alumni Council , Army ROTC Alumni Council , International Students Alumni Council, KY Southern College Alumni Council, Latino/Hispanic Alumni Council, LGBT Alumni Council, Red Barn Alumni Council, Women’s Alumni Council The above alumni councils aim to foster a lifelong commitment to UofL and enable alumni to remain involved and connected to the University. The council creates and develops programs and services to serve alumni, meet the needs of students, as well as assist the Alumni Association in achieving its mission of serving, involving and informing alumni, current and future students, and friends of the University. Current membership

Requirements Recent WKU graduate (within the past 10 years) Participate on (1) Young Alumni Council Committee Ability to serve (3) consecutive years on the Young Alumni Council Current Annual or Lifetime member of the WKU Alumni Association Willing to support the WKU Alumni Association's mission and programming efforts Commit to attending quarterly meetings with the ability to attend at least (1) meeting in person Commit to volunteering at the annual YAC fundraiser - Red, White & Brew

Requirements Graduate of the University of Louisville Ability to serve at the minimum one year on respective council Willing to support the UofL Alumni Association's mission and programming efforts Commit to attending quarterly council meetings (via in person or conference call) Commit to serving on at least one committee (i.e. Student Engagement, Special Events, etc.) on respective council Abide by bylaws set by respective council
