1 + To the Board: We want to thank you for the opportunity to develop and implement the Leadership Council of the Cleveland Leadership Center. It has been an exciting and productive inaugural year. As you know, our council is composed of leading alumni from every CLC program. This cross section of the Center injected youth and exuberance into every project we undertook. Our mission, to “Engage emerging leaders across a spectrum of experiences and industries to further advance the mission of the Cleveland Leadership Center and provide opportunities for development of leadership skills for the individuals involved” was the driving force for our work. To the right, you can click to see the work of each of our committees: Next Gen: Enhance and engage the CLC’s next generation of leaders in the (i)Cleveland and Look Up To Cleveland programs. Cultivation: Raising Friends and Funds for the CLC. The goal was to no longer allow the Cleveland Leadership Center to be the best kept secret in Cleveland. Training and Development : Educate our Council on leadership development and opportunities for civic engagement and develop lasting bonds between the Board and the Council. We believe that we have achieved much in our inaugural year and look forward to further innovative and exciting projects to enhance the experience in the Cleveland Leadership Center. Again, thank you for making this possible. Please enjoy our Annual Report to the Board entitled: “CLC Taking Shape.” Respectfully Submitted: Bill Lewis, Chair Jeff Verespej, Vice Chair Rachel Ciomcia, CLC CLC Leadership Council To the Board: We want to thank you for the opportunity to develop and implement the Leadership Council of the Cleveland Leadership Center.
